Update Your Aadhar (UID) Detail Online

Please note that if you want to update any person's aadhar(UID) detail online then that person's registered mobile number must be with you because online update portal required OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to that registered mobile phone number. If you do not have access to a mobile phone or if you wish to apply for changes aadhar detail you are not able to do so.

You can change the following information from the online portal in your aadhar card.

1.  Name
2.  Address
3.  Mobile Number
4.  Gender
5.  Date of Birth
6.  Email ID

If you want to change any other detail then you have to visit your nearest aadhar enrollment center.

when you go for update aadhar online following documents required to upload.

1. Name: Identity Proof required
2. Address: Address Proof required
3. Date of Birth: Birth-related proof required


Follow below steps:


Step 1: Open the website => Aadhar Update

Step 2: Click on Update Aadhar Detail

Step 3: Read the given information and then click on red highlighted area.

Step 4: Enter your 12 digit aadhar number, then enter the captcha code and click on "Send OTP".

Step 5: Select only that box for which information you want to change. If you want to change Address then select only that box.

Step 6:  Write your correct information. which information you want to show on your aadhard card.

Step 7: Select the documented proof for which you have softcopy. After selecting the document click on submit.

Now your aadhar update request registered successfully. It may require maximum 15 days for update.

You can also check your aadhar status online. It may be pending, completed or rejected.
